League Rules and Regulations

The Epic Adventure Games Blood Bowl League uses the Vault Rules (Version 1.12 is currently in the vault.  EAGBBL will set which version to use at the beginning of each qualifying round)


Illegal Procedures
EAGBBL does not use the rules for calling Illegal Procedures when your opponent forgets to move their turn counter.  Simply remind your opponent and get back to the game.

Match Points
Painting Points
Painting points are awarded by the commissioner on a per match basis.  To get the painting points for a match all players participating in the match must be painted with at least 3 colors and at a minimum the base painted.

Sportsmanship Points
Most coaches realize that Blood Bowl is a very silly game that is played for fun.  However, there are few rare coaches that need to be reminded of this fact.  Sportsmanship points will be privately reported to the commissioner and will not be placed onto the web site until the Quarter/Semi Final pairings are posted.

Sportsmanship Points are not intended to be a "tactic" to be used by coaches.  An explanation to the commissioner will be required whenever 0 points are awarded.

Forfeit
A coach that forfeits a match, regardless of the reason, receives no points for the match (this includes painting and sportsmanship).

Tie Breakers
When two teams have the same number of points at the end of a qualifying round, the following tie breaker rules are applied to determine ranking:
  1. Total Wins
  2. Head to Head Record
  3. Total Touchdowns Scored
  4. Total Sportsmanship Points
  5. Total Painting Points
  6. Team Value
  7. Coin Toss
